Football Game : The Wonder Lake football team trounced St. Mary's of Woodstock Sunday in a 21-0 game. Fred Zandier, coach for the Wonder Lake boys, all of Little League, weight 125 pounds or under, said that the Wonder Lakers played a fine game with Jerry Anderson, a standout player. Jerry's 70-yard run for a touchdown was made possible by an opening play from scrimmage by Danny Lundbdrg and the brilliant faking -of Waynt Tronsen, Wonder Lake's quarterback. Earl Miller, Wonder Lake, and Les Richards, Woodstock, were officials for the game. The St. Mary's team is coached by Mel Stuessey. who is also coach for St. Mary's varsity. Wonder Lake will play Burton's Bridge next week. Burton's Bridge team, which only numbers fourteen players, is in the lead place and Wonder Lake needs to win over them to tie for first plfice in the little league.
