McHenry, Illinois •H-H-W-H 'l"t' Spring Grove By Mrs. Charles Freund Due to the hustle and bustle of the Christmas season, time was much too short, therefore here is a short flash back to Christmas week. t The children of both schools enjoyed Christmas parties, with Santa' malting his appearance and there was a presentation of gifts. St. Peter's school children presented a program with various scenes and tableau of the birth of our Lord and beautiful songs in keeping with the season. Midnight Mass at St. Peter's was again well attended. It seems as though the Christmas spirit is never complete until one attends this Mass. The church beautifully decorated with poinsettias and lighted \tapers, the Nativity scene with its background of Christmas tree# covered with colored lights and the singing^of the "Adeste Fideles" by the choir all -add to the Y* solemnity of the occasion TeL McHenry 37 !rr Now it is all over, children MISCELLANEOUS ILLINOIS BELL TELEPHONE CO.
