Both are long time residents of the community and both natives of Germany . They have seven living children, Mrs. John Suhling. Joseph, Edward, Mrs. James Curran, Mrs. Tony Walczak, Isadora and Francis; also twentyseven grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Jan. 27--Mr. and Mrs. Michael Olhava of Chicago, summer residents of McHenry, celebrated their golden wedding anniver sary, the day beginning with a High Mass at St. Hycant's church. They have eight children, including Theodore and Sophie, residing in McHenry. March 29--Mr. and Mrs. Alfred Seyfferth of Lakemoor, among the community's oldest residents, celebrated their golden 1 wedding anniversary. They celebrated the occasion with their children and 250 relatives and friends in Chicago on March 29. April 5- Mr. and Mrs. Rudolph Bruelheide of McCullcm Lake observed their golden wedding anniversary by holding open house on both Saturday and Sunday. The couple moved to this area ten years ago. April 11--Mr. and .Mrs. Henry Williams of Ringwood observed their fifty-ninth wedding anniversary on Easter Sunday, although the actual date was April 11. Their seven children were home to enjoy the day with this respected couple. June 23--Mr. and Mrs. William Wright of Burton's Bridge observed their fifty-fifth wedding anniversary with open hcuse for their family and many friends. July 6--Mr. and Mrs. Trygve Rongstad of McCullom Lake observed their golden wedding anniversary by holding open house for their many friends and relatives. They have been local residents for ten years. August 6--Mr. and Mrs. Edward Uhlir of Sunset View, subdivision observed a half century of married life with a family party celebiated Aug. 10. The couple, who have resided in thi«; community for six years, have one son, William, of Bellwood, 111. < ' Sept. 13--Mr. and Mrs. Cartten Palmer of Wickline Bay subdivision, Wonder Lake, observed their golden wedding day with open house for relatives ahd friends. Oct. 8--Mr. and Mrs. John Smith., observed their fifty-seventh wedding anniversary by spending the day with their nine living children and enjoying a, family dinner in the evening The Smiths also have twentyseven grandchildren and eighteen great-grandchildren. ' Oct. 25--Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Burdahl of Pistakee Bay celebrated their golden wedding an' niversary with 500 friends and relatives. Oct. 28-*4fatr. and Mrs. T*. B. Barbian celebrated their sixtyfirst wedding anniversary at a family dinner at their home in Riverside Drive. Both remain in good health and very active. November 6--Their sixty-second wedding anniversary was observed by Mr. and Mrs. William Oeffling, lifelong residents of the Johnsburg community. A family gathering was held the following Saturday 1 for family and friends. November 17--Mr. and' Mrs. Joe Meyer of Stacyville, natives of the Johnsburg community, observed their sixtieth wedding anniversary' with their nine children and a large group of friends and relatives.
