FRIDAY - .Friends mourn the death of Mrs. Elizabeth Steilen, a former McHenry resident who d ed in Chicago last week. Services were held Friday from St. Mathias church, with burial in St. Mary's cemetery. When residing in McHenry, the Stellens operated a grocery store in what is now known as the Tucker building on Riverside Drive. She is survived by two sons, Nicholas and George; a sister, Mrs. George A. Steilen of McHenry and a brother, George Rix, of Chicago. Her husband Nicholas P. Steilen, and a daughter, Mrs. Gertrude preceded her in death.
