Celebrates Silver Wedding Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Miller will be celebrating their twentyfifth wedding anniversary with a party at the Community Club on Saturday, June 19. The actual date of the wedding was on June 6, but due to the Millers' two sons, Jim and Bob. being in service, the celebration was postponed. The Millers have four children, Jim at Port Leonard Wood, Mo., Bob at Rantoul AFB and Mary Ann and David at home. Mr. and Mrs. Miller were married at St. Peter's church at Spring Grove on June 5, 1929. Their attendants were Olivia Hiller, Frances West, Clarence t^reund and Juletta Donnellan of Chicago as flower girl. RPSOUP Squad Called f^ie Johnsburg fescue squad was called out once again last Sunday evening. They were called to lend their assistance in an accident in which several cars were involved. The occupants of the cars were hurt and were transported to the Woodstock hospital in the rescue squad truck and other ambulances. Stratton has announced the location of the first five toll roads to be built in Illinois at an estimated 0ost of $583,000,000. The turnpikes will total 465 miles in length and construction work is expected to begin early next year. The location^and names of the turnpikes announced by Governor Stratton follow: Tri-State: 57 miles long, forming a beltline around Chicago to connect with major highways entering Illinois from Indiana and Wisconsin. North Chicago: Extending 80 miles from Chicago to Rockford and thence north to the Wisconsin border to connect with a turnpike proposed by that state. East-West: 149 miles in length, connecting Chicago with Rock Island and Moline. Chicago-Milwaukee: 25 miles long it forms a northern connection with the Tri-State route around Chicago. Old National Trail: 154 miles long, extending from the Indiana line near Terre Haute to St. Louis. It lies approximately midway between U. S. Routes 40 and 50. CHURCH MAKES * PLANS TO SHOW "WESLEY" PICTURE The first motion picture filmed in newest color negative will be shown in McHenry at the McHenry high' school. The special showing, set for June 28, is one of 500 premiere showings throughout the country this spring before general release, according to Pastor J. Elliott Corbett of the Community Methodist Church. The feature length picture, "JOHN WESLEY", will portray the dynamic l&th century churchman's search for a satisfying religious experience, and his history- making impact upon the moral and spiritual life of the English-speaking worid after his famous "heart-warming" experience at Aldersgate. Another first in the making of the picture was achieved when the St. Paul's Cathedral sequence was filmed. This was the first time a professional motion picture camera had been inside England's famous cathedral. Museums, libraries and private collectors cooperated in providing authentic 18th century properties for the picture.
