But the Mighty Atlas vows he'll crown the night by clobbering Roy McC^iny in the feature event of Fred Kohler's Lake county stadium mi show in Round Lake Park tlfi Friday. McClarity is, a new Canadian sensation, gaining national laurels fast in this .country. He weighs 235, stands six three and already has won over millions of lady fans. He is considered thet fastest big man in the business. There was a time when Canadian hockey moguls wanted him badly. He played the game on the all-service Canadian team while in the RCAF. There's going to be a bit of dynamite here. The angry and unruly Atlas, a Hollywood showoff, can raise his stature with a victory over McClarity. He's got ay fulljgnelson whicih has crippled / gocw many contenders. Whether he can use the power hold effectively Friday is up to the conjecture of the mounting fandom the business is gaining hereabouts. Atlas came to wrestling from the circus field. He was a strong man, bending steel pipe with his teeth. At times he still demonstrates the incredible feat. Well, the musclemen keep crowding into Lake county stadium. to-raise cain. This Friday, along with McClarity and Atlas, such other stars as Mltsu Arakawa and Rudy Kay will be here for a tag tussle against Davey Jones and Uncle Milty Olson. And Johnny Carlin, a Swedish vet who has wrestled the best, will open the card at 8:30 p.m. against Johnny Casey of Antioch. INDIANS TAKE EASY WIN OVER HEBRON ATHLETES The Johnsburg Indians, sponsored by the Wonder Lake Legion post, made it eight in a row with a lopsided victory over Hebron last week. Frett joined the Legion Hall of Fame by pitching a no-hitter, giving up no runs while walking five and striking out ten in the fi^e-inning contest. - Johnsburg's hits were numerous and almost everyone was a long-ball hitter for the day.
