At this meeting it' w$s voted to hold a card And bunico party Nov. 27 for the benefit Of the Wood&tock Memorial hospital's new addition. Richard; Hyatt "is chairman of this affair and his committee will consist of Jul!* 'Kraus and Marge Beahler. Cooperation from all will be appreciated. Zt was also decided at this meeting to run our annual whoopee party Feb. 12, with three-fourths of the net profit to go to the community and fire building for fuel and maintenance. Further news will follow Mter the next meeting. There will be no December meeting1 of the LJ.A. due to the. fact that it is too close to. the holidays. After the meeting, a social followed. Many of the members jvere in costumes and Mr. Be&iler, dressed as a hobo, won the men's prize and Helen Para, dressed as a gypsy, won the ladies' prize. It was a very hard decision for the judges to make because all were really dressed very well. P.T.A. v The Lily Lake P/T.A. held its monthly meeting recently, at which time the children's Hallowe'en party was discussed. After the meeting, a skit entitled "Now When I Went to school" was portrayed by Janet Schringa, Nancy Ritter and Janyce Bonder. Scenic slides were shown by Miss Leta Clark, formerly from Edgebrook, now a teacher at Johnsburg, of her Western trip. This was enjoyed by all * present> Mrs. Johnson, chairman of magazines of McHenry P.T.A., was also present and gave a talk on the parent- teacher magazine. Rummage Sale The rummage sale sponsored by the ladies auxiliary will take place on the twenty-second and twenty-third of October. The hours will be on Friday from 9 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. and on Saturday from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Furniture articles have been added to the sale at this time, plus articles of clothing. Don't forget the dates. This sale will be held in the fire house. Firemen's Dance Don't forget to keep Oct. 30 open for the, dance being sponsored by the volunteer firemen of Lakemoor. Since many will be .out celebrating Hallowe'en that night, where could you find better entertainment than right in your own village and at the same time lie helping,, a good cause? General News Mr. and Mrs. Paul Allen and children, Dawn and Michael, brother of Vi Veneer, and Mr. and Mrs. BrQiyn of Downers Grove were out visiting the Vineers last Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. Art Levand, Clark Hains and Mr. and Mrs. Vineer went to Lake .Villa to celdbrate the birthday of Marge's niece, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Lamont. Wally Szarek and Lennie went to Clinton, Iowa, Sunday to visit Carol at boarding school. Mr. and Mrs. Harold Foss and Mr. and Mrs. Roy Erickson /were entertained Sunday at dinner at the home of Edward Kamin, Jr., i and Stewart Clark. All I can say Dinner The softball team sponsored by the Business Men's association of Lakemoor was given a steak and chicken dinner by the business men last Wednesday. The boys could have all they wanted to eat. The dinner was held at the Charm House. The boys well deserved this dinner, havings won the pennant for the year. Business Men's A*sodatiop The Business Men's association members are going to take their wives out for a dinner on Oct. 25 at the Lodge in Crystal Lake.
