She is the former Pat Huemaitn, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Joe Huemann. The maternal grandparents have been down visiting their daughter and husband previous to the birth of their first grandchild and are still there at this Writing. The paternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Matt Laures of McHenry .stopped in to see their new grandson on the way back from California, where they visited their daughter aijgi family. . Congratulations" to Jack and Pat on their new addition to their family. She was presented with many lOvely gifts for the forthcoming Addition.' Guests'- attended from McHenry, Spring. Grove, Wonder Lake, Woodstock and Crystal Lake. Hostesses for the afternoon were Mrs. Rena Smith, Mrs. Eileen King, Mrs. Susie Oeffling, Miss Kathleen Oeffiing, Mrs. Kathryn Huff, Mrs. Shirley Lieser and Mrs. Catherine Dehn. Hurt In Auto Accident Friends will be sorry to learn that Mrs. Eleanor Mangold was quite seriously hurt in an auto accident last Saturday evening. Mrs. Mangold and a lady friend were returning home on Rt. 12 from seeing a show in Fox Lake when a car swerved into their lane and hit the Mangold car head-on* Mrs. Mangold will be spending some time at St. Therese hospital in Waukegan so what do you say we send her some get well ' Cards. It will make her stay there a little more pleasant. Her address is Mrs. Eleanor Mangold, St. Therese Hospital, Waukegan. School News St. John's P.T.A. met on Monday evening, Nov. 22. besides the regular business meeting, a book fair was held and there was open house.,Parents had an opportunity of . visiting classrooms and seeing the ywork done by the children. Girls from the seventh grade sang the "Italian Street iSong" and "Ave Maria." A gz*9iip of eighth grade girls sang "When Johnny Comes Marching Homs". and a Thanksgiving hymn. ! Room 106 won first prize for having the largest number of charter members. Room 103 came in for second prize. The children of grade? 4, 5 and 6 make up the new junior choir. Mr. and Mrs. Gerry Hettermann were guests at the home of friends in Des Plaines for dinner last Saturday evening.
