BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT AND VILLAGE BOARD OF TOE VILLAGE OF LAKEMOOR, ILLINOIS. Section 504: No person, firm or corporation shall erect, or maintain any sign or sign-board, or canopy or > awning over or upon any street, alley, sidewalk, parking area, public right of way or other public way in the village, without first obtaining a permit therefore as is provided. Application for such permits shall be made to the village building inspector and shall designate the location, size find mode of construction of the proposed sign, etc., and shall be accompanied by a permit fee of two dollars each application. If the building inspector determines that proposed sign, sign-board, canopy or awning: 1. Will be reasonably safe to the public, if constructed and placed as proposed; 2. Will not be a safety, hazard to the vehicular traffic; and 3. Will not obstruct the view of vehicular traffic on the public ways or such as may enter or leave parking areas along said public ways, he shall approve said application and authorize the village collector to issue th$ requested permit. After the initial permit, the annual fee for such signs, sign-boards, canopies and awnings shall be one dollar per premises. Section 505: Temporary permits: Temporary permits may be issued for the maintenance of a temporary sign or canopy for a short time, upon the payment of a tee .of one dollar for each week or fraction thereof that such sign or canopy may be maintained. _ ( Section 506: Permit Period: The period for permits required by this article shall be the same as Jor the,gen-, eral license year. ' Section 507: Height above walk, etc.: Hie lowest part of any such sign or* canopy, or of any non-rigid awning or support thereof which extends over any public way, shall be at •least seven feet above the level of the walk or public way over which it extends; but no such sign «hall be maintained over any public way used by vehicles, if any part of it, or of its support, is less than twelve feet above the level of such public way, nor shall any juch sign post extend outside the building line more "than five feet.
