PETER'S CHURCH SCENE OF LOVELY WEDDING SERVICE Miss Dorothy Wagner of Volo and Mr. Robert Herrmann of Roselle, N.J., were married last Saturday, June 11. in a beautiful wedding ceremony solemnized at St. Peter's Catholic church in Volo, with Rev. Fr. George Schark officiating at the 10 o'clock rite. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph F. Wagner of Volo and the bridegroom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Edwin Herrmann of New Jersey. Miss Wagner was lovely in a gown of white chantilly lace, with- nylon, hoop skirt and long sleeves pointed fit the wrist. Her floral headpiece held a fingertip veil and she carried a colonial bouquet of stephanotis and white orchids. CO-hostesses were Mrs. Donald C. Freund, Miss Mary Ann Bolger, Miss Eva Unti and Miss Rita Bolger. About twenty-five classmates were present to enjoy a social evening, after which lunch was served. Miss Wegener will become the bride of Robert P. Freund Saturday, June 18, at St., Mary's church. Miss Elizabeth Herrmann of Roselle, N.J., attired in white, and Miss Peggy Rossdeutcher of Chicago, in blue, were bridesmaids. William Herrmann of Iselin, N.J., brother of the groom, served as best man. Groomsmen were Walter Freund, Jr., and Robert Rossdeutcher. The two pretty flower girls chose white dotted Swiss dresses, blue floral headpieces and carried colonial bouquets of stephanotis and blue daisies. For her daughter's wedding, Mrs. Wagner wore a light blue dress, white accessories and a white orchid corsage. Mrs. Herrmann was attired in a pink and black prin}: dress with which she wore black accessories and a similar corsage. A wedding breakfast was served at the Wing and Fin club in Volo for twenty-four members of the bridal party t and the immediate families. A reception was held at 5 o'clock *at the V.F.W. clubhouse in McHenry, attended by 300 guests. Following a trip into northern Wisconsin, the newlyweds will return to reside temporarily with her parents. Next fall the bridegroom will begin college studies. Mrs, Herrmann graduated from St. Therese School of Nursing in Waukegan and practiced in California and Waukegan before taking over duties in the office of a Fox Lake physician. Holly attended a meeting of the McHenry County Past Oracles club, held with Mrs. Earl Bryant in Crystal Lake last week. Miss Rita Meehan, who graduated from St. , Mary's on the Fox, St. Charles, this year and brother, Gary Hfeehan, left last week to visit their sister, Marian Meehan, in Jacksonville, Fla. Mrs. Lorrie Matchen spent the past week with her sister in Wilmette. Mrs. Kathryn Steilen of Chicago, who had been spending the past two weeks here, returned' home Friday.
