ROEWER FANS 13 x AS MERCHANTS WIN 5-1 FROM TIGERS It was too much Roewer last Sunday as the Crystal LaJke Merchants defeated the Johnsburg Tigers 5 to 1 in a county league baseball game. Roewer ^allowed only 6 hits and 3 walks while striking out 13 Tiger batters. To help his own cause, the man in . charge jslammed out a triple and a single.
