She had been in poor health for the past eleven years. Survivors include a brother, William Bauer, of Eugene, Ore., two sisters, Mrs. Ella Gilliford and Mrs. Edna Jepsen of McHenry; also two nephews and one niece. Rev. J. Mary [Michels Mrs. Mary Michels, 72, of Johnsburg, died last Friday evening* Oct. 28, at Memorial hospital following a heart attack. Her husband, Joseph, preceded her in death last year. Lyle Gillette Lyle Gillette, 58, died at Memorial hospital, Woodstock, late Monday morning, Oct. 31, several hours after he had been/ disr covered unconscious in his room in the former North Western hotel. He was rushed to the hospital but failed to improve. Gillette, a native of Belvidere, came to McHenry from Rockford last May 5 and had been acting clerk at the'local North Western depot. He is survived by his sister, Nelva Gillette, a school teacher in Barrington. Duos Tope Enos Tope of Rock Falls died Thursday noon, Oct. 27, at the Villa Rest home, where he had been for the past year and a half. A retired printer, he leaves his widow, a son and a grandson. Services were held Wednesday afternoon from the Rock Falls Methodist church, with burial in Rock Falls cemetery.
