When Myron Francisco was drying to Borden's with milk one day last week a trace came unhooked and on account of the ice the wagon lurched, throwing him over the dash board to the frjgzen ground. He called out "Wlioa" to the team after one wMeel had passed -over his limb. Th'ey stopped, then- started up, strewing the milk, of which he had fifteen cans, in every direction. He was not seriously injured. Gage Property Sold-- A deal was consummated this week whereby IF. H. Wattles, the West Side livestock dealer, has come into possession of the last piece of land owned by the Gage estate. Mr. Wattles' purchase includes the old Gage house on the corner of Main and Center streets, together with about fiftyfive cares of land, which includes the famous old race track property. Thus the last strip of the Gage property passes from the*, ownership of the estate, which at one time comprised very nearly the entire West Side of town, and which originally was named Gage town. A bit of interesting history is connected with the property. Gagetown first sprang into existence upon the arrival of Mr. Gage and the railroad.
