William Smith-- William Smith, prominent and successful Merchant of McHenry, died at his home on Pearl street Friday, March 6, after a short illness which terminated in pneumonia. He was not yet 48 years of age. He was born at Johnsburg June 8, 1883, one of a family of twelve children. Court Elects Officers-- St. Clara's Court, No. 659, C.O.F., held its annual election of officers Thursday evening, with Mrs. Kathryn Worts reelected as Chief Ranger of Hie society. Eight Years Old-- Margaret Schaefer, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Herman Schaefer,' celebrated her eighth birthday anniversary Tuesday after Krause-Donnelly-- At a 9:30 o'clock ceremony performed in St. Mary's church Feb. 27, Miss Marion Krause became the bride of Mr. Robert William Donnelly of Salem, N.J. ACCIDENTS DECREASE The 126 deaths from motor vehicle crashes on Illinois highways which occurred during January represent a 22 per "cent decrease from January, 1955, according to a report by Edwin A.
