We can easily guess that winter sports is the activity for which much care is being given to dressing--and the family-' movie record will be LcUci Lcuiuu/ ii bi&i-ut ai the beginning and follows the action to the out-of«doors. Not All Movie Stars Are in Hollywood While it is well-known that the jbrightest stars of the film world shine forth from the Hollywood galaxy--there are a few million minor stars that twinkle right around home for the benefit of amateur movie cameras. With more and more families turning to movie cameras as the ideal means of keeping a record of their activities, we want to tell you today about the most versatile, inexpensive movie camera ~we're ever seen. You may have heard talk about 16mm cameras with turret" lenses --or about people buying telephoto and wide-angle lenses to increase the range of their movie making. Most likely, you felt these things aren't for me--too complicated and expensive. Well, now they are for you and all in one simple, fixed focus camera. It has an ingenious turret Resign, enabling you to switch "QStom telephoto, to standard, to wide-angle lens movie making with a mere twist of the wrist. You can stand in one spot and make three different types of movie scenes. You can shoot regularly with the standard lens. Switch to the telephoto lens and you reach right out to bring a comparatively small part of your subject up to full picture size. Then a change to the wide-angle lens gives you a nice full view of the subject that is especially good for large scenic views or for setting a complete stage for your subject's action. And, all of this comes to you for under $80. When you use this, or any other movie camera, be sure to remember that your camera is made to record action. Don't waste your movie film on still snapshots. Try for continuity in the action, too. Movies that tell the simplest of stories are far better than those composed of a series of disconnected shots. --John Van Guilder F. M.
