The meetings are interesting and informative, try to attend. A special meeting of the village board will take place on Thursday, March 29, at 8:30 p.m. The meeting is open to the public. This is a final warning about the vehicle and dog licenses. The vehicle stickers must be on the cars. Failure to follow the village code in this regard will result in a summons to the police magistrate court. And again there are many dogs on the loose, They are annoying the children and hindering traffic. Dogs must be tied or fenced in their own yards. . Fire Department Please continue saving newspapers and magazines. A notice will follow some time after Easter about a pick-up. Community Dance If you don't have your tickets for the spring community dance, you may get them from members of the following organizations: Fire department, auxiliary, Ladies league and the L.I.A. The proceeds of this dance will be used to purchase more building material for the second floor of the firehouse. Teen-age Dance „ Last Sunday the teen-agers again had a successful dance. They enjoy putting up their own decorations and getting the refreshments. He is at St. Michael's hospital, 1845 N. j 4th St.. Room 215, Milwaukee, j Wis. He will be spending two. | weeks or possibly more at the hospital and hearing from his friends in Lakemoor would help cheer up some of those days. Chipper Cynowa underwent a skin grafting on Monday. He will be spending some time again in the hospital. In the past, the cards and letters were a great help to Chipper, and they will be appreciated again at this time. He is in Children's Memorial hospital in Chicago. Helen Para underwent surgery at Memorial hospital on Thursday morning. She will spend at least ten days at the hospital. the weekend in Chicago, attending two birthday parties. .The birthdays werfc for Emma's godchild and niece. Marbella Foss was very happy on Monday. Her sister, Mrs. Gertrude Conti, of.Wald Lake, Mich., was in for a visit. Other guests on that day were Marcella's father, Stanley x Sohm, Brother Raymond Sohm and Mrs. Peter Sohm. Back from a three-week vacation in the land of sunshine are Mr. and Mi's. Harry Brady. They spent their vacation at the home of Mrs. Gertrude Krieger in Hollywood, Fla. Mrs. Krieger is a former resident of Lakemoor and sends a "hello" to alt" her friends. Also back from Miami Beach,. Fla., are Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Sarley. They spent five weeks in Florida and with them were their two sons. Dr. Vincent Sarley and family and Dr. Erwin Sarley and family. The Sarleys and Bradys were down souih at the same time and spent a day together in Hollywood, Fla. P.T.A. Anniversary Mr. and Mrs. Norman Morrison enjoyed a belated tenth anniversary on Saturday in Chicago. They spent the evening at a show, followed by a Chinese-dinner. He bowled 1308 for six lines and definitely will bowl in the prize money. V Hospitalized Leona Fantus left for Highwood hospital Tuesday. She will be in the hospital for at least four days. ; ' District Contest We would like to congratulate David Fantus for winning first prize for cornet trio and^ also secpnd prize for cornet solo Saturday in Woodstock at the district contest. He will be one of the group to go to Peoria for the state finals. Methodist church enjoyed a wonderful ham supper prepared1 by the men arid the minister, Rev, J. E. Corbett.
