MCHS TENNIS TEAM WINS TROPHY TO CAP SUCCESSFUL SEASON On Monday of this week teams were selected by the Little League managers. As stated before, there will be six major teams and six minor teams. Each boy is to be notified by his team manager as to the team ho is on. If any boy fails to hear which team he is on by June 1st, he can find out by calling the player agent, Frank Johnson, or any of the league officers. A In next week's Plaindealer we "'ill print the first round schedule. The regular games will start Sunday, June 3rd,. The minor league teams will play on Monday evenings and Saturday afternoons: Each major team was carefully selected according to National Little League rules. One of the provisions that is of interest to all you fans is. the rule pertaining to ages. Each team can have a maximum of fi^e 12 year olds, five 11 year olds, and a minimum of five 10 years or younger. So if some of you wonder why it is necessary for a few 11 „and 12 year olds to play in the minors, that is the reason why. However, we are putting special emphasis on the minor league supervision this year so any boy playing in the minors will have a chance to really show how well he can play b:>ll. lMIIlllil!lll!lil!lll!lll*rilllil!lLi!l!l<lllilltIlll!l11Illlli:ltUtil1lllIliinil!linililkt THE GREAT OUTDOORS By Jack Walsh iiniiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiHiiiiiiiiii'iiniiiiiiti'iiriiiniifiii'iiiini; * There were boats of every" size and description on the river last weekend.
