You can be^sure of a very entertaining, evening, as proven by the cjard parties of the past. Tickets may be obtained from any member or at the door. The party will be held at the fire department community ^tghouse and proceeds will be used •toward the maintenance of the fire building. The next Ladies League meeting will be on Wednesday, June 20, at 8 p.m. At this meeting there will be an election of officers. picnic followed on Wednesday - at Veteran Acres in Crystal* Lake. Spending several days with Angela were two of her classmates, Dale Wetzel of Burton's Bridge and Lynn Brubach from Island Lake. Thursdays Socials The Thursday night socials are being held at Wally's- Oasis I3pt 8:30 p.m. Everyone is welcome to attend. Ladies Auxiliary The next Auxiliary meeting will be h$Fd on Wednesday, June 27, at 8 p.m. McHenry Bible Church Sunday evening, June 17, at 8 p.m. at the church, the film "Regions Beyond" will be shown. Everyone is invited. Tuesday evening, June 19, the ladies' meeting will be held at Mrs. Ehredt's home. Wednesday evening, June 20, prayer meeting will be at the Wade home. „ Daily vacation Bible school will continue next week with the closing program on Sunday evening, June 24. The D.V.B.S. and Sunday *school picnic will be held on Saturday, June 30. Once a Month Club Met at the Jessie and Olive Cprbett home last Friday. Enjoying an evening of playing cards were Mesdames Alice Wade, Irene Leon, Helen Para and Ann Brzezinski. Peeling Better Joe ;Janiczewski is feeling better from an injury two weeks ago and is back to work. And it was good to see Mr. and Mrs. Edward Kamin, Sr., last weekend. Mr. Kamin spent several Weeks in the hospital for surgery a short time ago. Norman Morrison is beginning to use crutches now and returned home from the hospital Sunday. Cleveland Wade is spending less time in the wheel chair and doing chores around the home and feels he should be earning his own salt soon. And a Very speedy recovery to Thursday were Marcel la's father, Stanley Sohm, and brother, Raymond Sdhm. And on Sunday the Foss. family was at a graduation party for their nephew and niece at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Peter Sohm. A Very Special Birthday To Henry Fast, who will be 83 years young on Mondav, June 18. Brownies The final meeting of the IftjBrownies is Tuesday, Juno 19. On that day the" Brownies are to meet at the firehouse at 10 a.m. After a short meeting there will be a picnic at Deerhaven. All Brownies must have a permission note and a lunch to be able to attend. Meetings will resume again in September. ^ , Cub Scouts Den 7 will discontinue their meetings for the summer months and resume again in September.
