They ail could have used many more hours 'to be able to see the whole fair. Sick List Mrs. Lena Parratore came home from Augustana . hospital last week Sunday. Lena spent 4 weeks in the hospital and we are happy to see you home. We wish you a very speedy recovery. 'Jen McDermott left last Thursday for Duluth Minn., to visit her mother Mrs. Basko wich, who suffered a heart attack and is still on the critical list. A speedy recovery is wished for your mother, «Jen. i Full Weekend Mrs. Mary O'Leary must still be resting up from last weekend. On Saturday she entertained the Tuesday Night club from Chicago at a barbeque picnic? In all about forty members and families were having a grand time at the picnic. And on Sunday, Chuck O'Leary celebrated his birthday with a! party at his mother's summer cottage. All the O'- Learys and- their families were op hand to help Chuck celebrate his birthday. Surprise Party A surprise . birthday party for Mrs. Mae Miller of Chicago was given by her daughter, Mrs. McMahon last Saturday. Mrs. Miller was 70 years young and enjoying the wonderfui day with hor,. were her daughter Mrs. Dorothy Schmidt and her sons Don Miller arid wife, Walter Miller family, James Miller family, Jack Miller family, and Jerry Miller and family from Chicago. Two other sons Arthur and Robert Miller were not able to attend due to illness in their families. and enjoyed themselves at a birthday party for Jack's sister. Sunday the teaching Brothers of Don Bosco School in Milwaukee came oyt to visit the Foss family. These visitors were Brother Eugene Sohm, Brother Charles Rae, Brother John and Fa,ther W. Royburn. CORN CROP Birthday Happy birthday to Elda Fowler. She celebrated her birthday on Monday, Aug. 20. General News Last Sunday the Bradys entertained Mr. and Mrs. Charles Ugaste and Jerrilyn from Meyers Bay with a barbecue dinner in their back yard. About two months ago Mr. and Mrs. Fowler became the proud owners of a brand new rose and white automobile. They find driving much more pleasant these days. This would be slightly more than the total yield in 1955, and 12 per cent above the ten-year average.
