William (Bud) Weingart ti#d the well known marriage knot after spending a few. years as a bachelor. "Bud" and Nancy Weingart greeted quite a few of their relatives and friends at • the Old Spot Inn, where their reception was held later that day. Wishes for a very happy future are extended to the newly married couple. Ball Game Results The results of the Hettermann's versus Bimbo's soft ball team game which took place last Thursday evening is a little disappointing to everyone. Needless to say, our team lost the final game of the season. But there is always another round of games next year so we will all be looking forward to a lot of winners. Sick Lfct Mrs. Sue Frett is home after spending several days in the Highwood hospital. We are all very glad to hear she is feeling much better. Nancy Kay Miller has been doing a fine job hobbling around on her crutches since her, fall from a bike which resulted in a cast being put on Nancy Kay's leg. She has a few bones and ligaments that will take awhile to mend. •Our Tigers sure showed their ability in winning last Sunday afternoon when they beat Algonquin 11 to 2. It was one of the very few games I've seen this year and believe me that team is sure on the ball. They certainly played excellent ball along With some extra good pitching. Hurray for the Tigers, this year's county champions. H. ALAN LONG NEW DISTRICT DIRECTOR INTERNAL REVENUE H.
