This basket will be given away Saturday night at the feather party. If you have a can of cranberries, some sweet potatoes, or "fixings" for a pumpkin pie, leave it with Betty Hammersein (Park View and Spring road) anytime on Friday. While pave was hunting in the Sportsmen's controlled shooting area, he "winged" a hen Mallard. She was not hadly injured, but he couldn't bring himself to finish her off. Instead, she has been occupying the bathtub in the Hansen menage, much to the delight of the youngsters. When queried as to whether Donna will appear on a dinner platter, we received a vehement "No!" She will be fed and cared for, then released. Donna is safe for a little while, at lea^t. Holden of Wonder Lake Was held on Sunday at Whitey and Bernice's. Mr. Holden of McHenry and the former Anna M. Hays of Wonder Lake were married in Woodstock Sunday at 2 p.m. The bride 'was attired in a lighV grey suit with matching accessories and wore a beautiful white orchid.
