He was dean of the medical branch of the Illinois University of Chieago, for thirty years, before retiring a few years ago on account of ill health. Upon the urgent request, of fans and friends, the McHenry Sox have reorganized and will open the season next Sunday with Richard B. Walsh again as manager.
