Freund farm last weekend for their annual picnic. On Saturday evening, it was "grownup's night Out." The players and their wives spent the evening in the woods gabbing, eating, and just having fun. At noon on Sunday, the woods were well populated with the younger set as well as the grownups. Everyone enjoyed their lunch and the children were keeping themselves amused when "the rains came." This did not discourage the gang but they did have to desert the woods. The whole crowd packed up their cars and took refuge and continued their gettogether in Gerry Hettermann's garage. The late afternoon turned out pretty good so the children were able to go out and play. They had a similar experience last year but all are looking forward to a perfect day next year.
