Lilymoor Association The regular October meeting of the Lilymoor association will be held on Tuesday, Oct. 15, at the Lily Lake schoolhouse. This is the night that new officers will be elected for the coming year. Be sure to be present. Members of Den ,6- have been working on Indian rings, and witches for Halloween, and making up original games. At one meeting David Tobey brougnt the game he made up, displayed it to the group and explained the rules. All enjoyed playing his game. Other members of Den 6 are Bobby Zahn, Charles Huecksteadt, Jr., and John Winston. with a lovely 'anniversary party attended by twenty-five relatives. The bride and groom of twentyfive years were presented twentyfive silver dollars. This marks the half-way point to fifty and may every year to it be golden. Mr. and Mrs. Charles Huecksteadt celebrated their seventeenth year of marriage on Sunday, Oct. 6. The Huecksteadts have lived in this area a number of years and bought their present home on South avenue about four years ago. They have two daughters, Laura and Cheryl and a son, known best as "Dutchie". Guess / why? Alma and Charles have; our best wishes and wo hope the best is yet to come. Anniversaries ') .Mr. and Mrs. Herman Crawley celebrated their silver wedding anniversary last weekend in Kankakee, their home town. Herman, Edna and daughters, Charlene and Susie, spent the weekend at the home of Edna's father, Emil Scheppler. While there they were honored Moving Mr. and Mrs. Thomas J. Bruhn ate moving to Lilymoor into the H. F. Seifert residenfce on the lake. The Bruhns come to us from Sea Isle City in New Jersey where he was in the construction business and he will pursue the same vocation in this area. Mrs. Bruhn is. expected to join Mr Bruhn "here this week. Mr. and Mrs. H. F. Seifert have bought another home and mqyed into1 it last month. We shall miss them here but we hope they will be happy at their new location in Grayslake. Mr. and Mrs. Eugene Raven have moved into the Lamerand home. Hie Ravens, with their sixmonth- old son, Christopher, lived in West Chicago before moving here. Eugene is the son of Mr. and Mrs. R. C. Raven of Nunda Township. Mrs. Raven is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Hubbard of Wauconda. Mr. and Mrs. William Samuel Gray have moved info Lilymoor to South avenue. Emma and Wil- Personals Mr. and Mrs. Sam Sances of Beach Road had as their house guest this week Mrs. Sances' aunt, Mrs. Anna Mieling and. her daughter, Lottie, of Lawton, Okla. On Sunday, Oct. 6 Mrs. Mieling was the nonoree at a dinner party. Present were Mrs. Sances' parents Mr. and Mrs, Henry Gross of Forest Park, Mrs. Sances' brother and his .wife, Mr*, and Mrs. James Gross of. Maywood. On Saturday, Oct. 5 the Sances had as their guest for the day Mr. Sances' sister, JoAnn La- Rocco xand her daughter, .Mrs. Lee Vernich and children. Mrs. Maurice Haines is back at home on South Ave. - after spending two weeks in Chicago. Mr. and Mrs. W. S. Gray had as their guest Mrs. Gray's brother and his wife, Mr. and Mrs. Edward Hitchcock of Rockford. We are glad Charles Huecksteadt, Sr., has his legs out of the cast and is back at his regu: lar duties. We hope all goes well. We don't want him to miss another delicious roast beef, dinner at the Methodist Men's club. Janice is a. freshman at McHenry high school, and was one of the freshmen selected to be a J.V.C. LaVerne and Louie Schuler have, not one, but two attractive cheerleaders at their house! Carole, a senior, is among the six beauties that may be selected as homecoming queen tomorrow night. Also from Lilymoor is a candidate for king, Dave Fantus.
