McCullom Lake News Under Way In the immediate future, one of the many workers on the McHenry hospital fund drive will be calling on you to explain in detail, the addition. How vitally addition is needed is already known by some of our villagers. We are extremely fortunate to have the hospital facilities now in existence and so close fit hand. Because of the terrific growth In population in our own village and in . surrounding communities, those facilities are already inadequate. The proposed addition with the maternity wing is sadly needed. JensefL^spoke to the lone survivor of the accident which claimed the lives of five Chicago youths. The young lad was rushed to McHenry hospital and according to reports, he is winning the battle for his life. The fact that he was thrown from the car before the vehicle struck the tree, no doubt, was the saving factor in his case. The entire Johnson family was considerably unnerved on Sunday. A Day To Remember We refer to Patty Jensen's wedding day, Saturday. Oct. 12 when she became the bride of Mr. Jerry Sauter in a beautiful fall wedding at the Community Methodist church. Many of the local folks attended the ceremony and the ensuing festivities at Chapel Hill Country club. Full details appear elsewhere jj/i the Plaindealer. A grim note struck the party about 11 p.m. when Benjamin Sauter, father of the bridegroom, was stricken with a heart attack and was rushed to McHenry hospital. Oxygen was administered immediately. The bridal couple had already departed for their honeymood in Mississippi and were unaware of the catastrophe.. The news will be withheld from them until their return.
