PERSONALS Mrs. Mary Beatty of McHenry And Mrs. Wallace Carroll of Lake Forest spent two weeks at Martha's Vineyard Island, Mass., making the trip by plane to the island and driving back. Mrs. Gertrude Casey and children, Robert, Maurice and Madonna, will drive to South Bend, Ind.. Saturday, where they will attend the Pittsburg-Notre Dame football game. Miss Helen Wegener and brother, Dick Wegener, of California attended the St. Rita-Mount Carmel football game in Chicago on Suriday. "Hiey witnessed the outstanding performance of the St. Rita's marching show band at the half, of which Maurice Casey is a member. Mrs. Eileen Ingiald attended the recent homecoming festivities at Northern Illinois university at DeKalb, Mrs.Gertrude Casey will attend the south side secHondl Catholic football game on Sunday between St. Leo's, Chicago's all-city defending championship team, and Mount Carmel. Robert Casey is a member of St. Leo's marching band. Mrs. Mary Kogut of Chicago and Mr. and Mrs. Gustave Berg and their two sons, Walter and Paul, of Sunnyside Estates visited Aspirant Marion Berg at St. Joseph's convent Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Johnson and family have recently moved to Tulsa, Okla., where they will make their home. Mrs. Johnson was formierly Connie Posthiima and graduated from McHenry high school. ZOLLARS McHenry friends will be interested to learn of the marriage of Miss Elsa Mary Reese and William Bell Zollars, which took place Saturday, Oct. 19, at Judson Baptist church, Oak Park. The bride is the daughter of Mrs. Norman N. Reese and the late Mr. Reese of 173 N. E. 107th street Miami Shores, Fla., and Pistakee Bay, and the groom is the son of the Clyde W. Zollars of Wallingford, Vt. Dr. Elmer Palmer officiated at the nuptial ceremony. Given in marriage by her brother, Norman Reese, the radiant bride was lovely in a gown of peau de soie, with tf molded princess line bodice, scooped neckline outlined with applique of Alencon lace and accented with seed Don Hicks Takes Part In Millikin Homecoming Don Hicks of McHenry took part in the homecoming show staged on Oct. 18 at Millikin university in Decatur, 111. This year's production was the Zingfield Follies, a fanciful story dealing with the adventures of a Polish professor cm the Millikin campus. About fifty students took part in the show, which is traditionally staged the night before the homecoming game, and is followed by a pep meeting around a roaring bonfire on,the bade campus. Mr. Hicks is a sophomore this year at Millikin. He is the son of Mr. and Mrs. T. G. Hicks of 107 Bailey road, McHenry. You're invited this week-end Come 5l£... The bride is a graduate of Miami Edison high school and Duke university, where she was a member of Pi Beta Phi and Phi Beta Kappa. She has tauifct ih Miami. He recently completed a tour of duty with the Air Force, serving as a lieutenant. He is now employed for Aluminum Company ot America in Chicago; .
