All boys who had uniforms were inspected for neatness and to see if all insignias were sewed in the proper places. While the boys were going through inspection the parents had an opportunity to wander around and look at all the different things that the cubs had made. aw given out. For each Ten elective, credits a boy does, he receives one arrow point. His first arrow point in any rank is gold and all additional ones he earns in the same rank are silver. Ten elective credits are also needed to receive one silver arrow. Awards were given to Edward Ozog, Allen Raiford, Dale Marzano, and Michael Sullivan. Parents attending were W. The girls did the column for several weeks, but then were unable to keep it up, so since then I have been back doing it. It's just been an oversight that the name change hasn't been made before this. Snow Ball Start the Christmas season off .with a ball! Lots of fun and an evening of gala dancing awaits you on Saturday, Dec. 7 at the second annual Snow Ball. We'll be seeing you then on Saturday night--9 p.m. at the American Legion home. - The park committee hopes to have an additional attraction at the Snow Ball dance. Cub Scout News The monthly pack meeting was held on Monday, Nov. 25 at the American Legion clubhouse.. The theme for November was inspection and achievement show. Len and Vicki Bottari helped Len's folks, Mr. and Mrs. S. Bottari of West Shore Beach, polish off their Thanksgiving turkey. ' Helen and Larry Strandquist spent Thanksgiving day with their daughter and family, the Martin Mahoneys. The Bernie Laurence family journeyed to Chicago to Mary's parents, the Martin Nimeths, for the Thanksgiving holiday. Virginia and Ray Grote invited the Glen Uhles to share their turkey. Yours truly and family were guests of the Hahn family in Chicago for the holiday. Mr. and Mrs. Ed Glorch celebrated Thanksgiving day by entertaining their two sons and their families. Mr. and Mrs. Foster Glorch and sons, Larry and Donald, from Lakeland Park, and Mr. and Mrs. Robert Glorch and son, Gordon, from Chicago. Another celebration was in order too, as the day was also little Gordon's first birthday. He kept all the big Glorchs amused as he went through the antics of blowing out that one little candle.
