NEW K. OF C. COUNCIL, The Knights of Columbus, New Council Development Department of Illinois, has just announced thfjt Wauconda has been selected as the site for the next new council in the state. A recent survey just concluded has shown that the Catholic men in the area are anxious and veVy much interested in having their own council. Anna Smith Stadtfield, 84, died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Peter Diedrich, east of McHenry Tuesday, of the infirmities Of old age. Edward Forst, 59, whose wife is connected with the Niesen cafe here, died in a Chicago hospital General News Mr. and Mrs. William Hollenback and daughter, Roberta, attended a dinner on Dec. 1 in Chicago. The dinner is given by the Safety Council. Mr. Hollenback received an award in honor of safe driving. He has been driving since he was about twelve years old and has'never been the cause of any accidents. Pretty good record, Eh!
