This past weekend has brought . *#*»)*•,. ' • " lilt a new holiday look m our community. Due to the combined efforts of Ed Glorch and his son. Foster Glorch, the three entrances are decked out in their Christmas attire. Each of the lamp post has been decorated with evergreens and large, candy canes. Just this small amount, of decorating goes a long way toward dressing up our entrance ways. A big thank you to Ed id Foster for volunteering their ime. Marty of the residents got busy this weekend too? and outside ho^ge decorations have begun to appear. A few we noticed when we drove in Sunday evening were the Ray Bujaks who once again have a very bright ar^l^heery] wonderful Christmas party by display; the Ken fioyce^ 'who [their, co-chairmen, Dorothy Meinmust have put a great" <Jeal of T.-Uj work into the miniature church and surrounding seeftfe' that adorns their front yard;;'and "the John Reinhardt, Jrs., who : have their evergreen trees-, trimmed with colorful lights. The LPPOA are encouraging their members to participate in the home decorating contest again this year. Awards will be given for what the judges consi3er the most striking, artistic, &nd etc. Your display doesn't have to be elaborate to win so let's all try to have at least a small amount of eke and Elmira Kujak on Wed' nesday, Dec. 11. The party was held in the home of Mrs. Rose Blanc and was given as a reward for all the hard work that was put into the Snow Ball dance. Hie evening got off to a gay 'start with the serving of delicious punch and tasty cheese dip. A clever "draw the Christmas* tree" game brought out a great deal of laughter - and merriment. Last year's party was a huge success and the wee ones had a happy time so let's help the 'teenagers who are planning this. Each child attending the party is asked to bring a quarter grabbag gift. In spite of the busy holiday season it was fairly well attended^ The next social night is planned for Jan. 10 so mark it on your calendar and come on out to join the fun.
