Bolger's Drug Store Phone 40 Hie last Woman's club meeting place was changed to the Methodist church meeting room because of some mechanical difficulty with the heating system at the Legion home. The church rooms were warm and pleasant. The bitter cold was forgotten when the interesting program was begun. Future meetings will be at the Legion home at 1:30 p.m. Plans are beginning to crystalize for the year's big event, the fashion show, scheduled for April 16. There will be more about this later but at the present time members may contact Mrs. Goodell or Mrs. Dietle with their plans for helping in some capacity at this show. Many hands will be needed. „ An invitation was extended to the membersr from the Crystal Lake club to attend their March 11 meeting at the Methodist church to, hear a well known speaker on "Adventures in Russia." jHarvard club invites us to their March 3 meeting, also at the Methodist church, to learn about the "Art of Table Setting." Anyone wishing to attend either meeting may contact Mrs. Goodell, who will co-ordinate the transportation facilities. The February meeting focused attention on our neighbors "south of the. border." Costa Rica. The Thorntons (Shirley, Nancy and Kip---with a few asides from mother) did a fine job of cementing our frienship with Costa Rica. Nancy was the narrator, with a fine and humorous account of their vacation on their uncle's huge cotton "farm?" The colored slides were most interesting. Kip and Shirley demonstrated a few native dances, humorous "and strenuous. They told about the strict social discipline governing young people in Costa Rica. The entire oroeram was delightful. Mrs. Walter Carlson keyed her songs to the theme of Val- ' entine Day. She sang "Mem- I ories".'
