Fish and Dogs We have been asked to point out to the fishermen seen pulling 6" walleyes out of the lake and keeping them, that the fish are not only undersize but out of season, too. There is also that perennially ticklish question of the dogs running loose. On the one hand it is~ a state law that every dog must be inoculated for rabies and violation of this can impose a fine up to $100. There is a law that states that dogs must be licensed and kept under restraint at all times. As to what can be done about the dogs that mn fthrough your yard in packs, if some one complains a constable will pick up a stray dog and impound it. If soneone signs a complaint about a dog which 5s licensed, the constable will carry the complaint to the owner of the dog to see why it is not under restraint. If. however, you are bitten by a dog things are much easier as the law is much tidier about this offence. To be practical, the county, can't afford to impound all the stray dogs in the county. As we heard it the county "ain't got no money." Thursday, the tenth. Happy birthday to H. F. Etheridge who celebrated his day Friday, April 11.
