(TTiis fact should not be taken for granted, We can be proud of it). Nominations from the floor were called for and a few additional names were added to the last. As it stands now • the candidates for offices are as follows: president,' Frank Babarsky, Ted Bierchen, Matt Bott, Red Davis and Dalie Maule; vice president George Kropf and Dale Maule; recording secretary, Florence Kanter; corresponding secretary, George Spindler ; treasurer, Pat Bott and Carol Kennebeck; trustees, A. S. Kimbro, Larry Lesky, Kelly Noah and Ted Voight. Keep these names in mind and be prepared to vote for your favorites next month. We were reminded of the spending that still seems to be going on in spite of the limit signs. Even though some of our residents are still a bit lax about observing them, the majority of violators are people who don't live here such as Visitors, workmen and especially truck drivers. It was suggested that we call the companies to whom these trucks belong and request them to' slow down. Another suggestion was to hail them ourselves and firmly insist they travel at a slower rate of speed. Perhaps if we all persist in harping on the Subject to these men we may slow them down to a speed which would-be safer for the kids and not quite so dusty. The remainder of the street signs will be up by the end of thg month since the names of the streets afe not going to be changed."Any' volunteers to help with this prospect can contact Bud Kennebeck at 1184-M.
