It all started when they saw the accident by the store, where a man broke an arm and leg, then their car stalled in Fox Lake, finally getting home. Bill was looking at the motor when their little son, Bobby, age 2, put the car in gear and shot into the garage. Fortunately no one was hurt. Pearl, Chester, and Darlene Smolinski are going to a wedding this Saturday in Evanston. Their niece, Judith Wright is getting married, with the reception to be held in Buffalo Grove. Dela and Bob Wesselink are going to enjoy a' night on the town Saturday. Here and There 'Mr. and Mrs. Ristow's daughter and her husband are visitanxiously waiting for the end of the month to roll around, that's when Lee's sister and her family Mr. and Mrs. Frank Maloney, and their son, Paul, will arrive from Spring Valley to spend a week. Rose and Bob Wallace are moving out of our community and going to Fox Lake to live. It will be closer to Bob's business. A few of the girls had a little going away party for Rose last week. Those who came and brought along a few unmentionables were: Lorraine Hurckes, Myrtle Bentz, Sylvia Murray, Virginia Thoren and Katherine Riley. He was 12 years (old. ,v Ruth and Jim Lemmons returned last Sunday from Kentucky, where they attended Jim's dad's funeral, Betty Warczak's brother, Bob Minton was a Saturday guest of Tom's and Betty's. Frank Krumwiede's brother and family came from Park Ridge and spent a pleasant day visiting Frank and Judy. When they got back they took another short spin to Chicago to, pick up their baby who was being taken care of by friends. Audrye Zetlerberg was hostess to a baby shower given for a. friend, Sarah Schmid of Fox Lake, on May 15. Sarah received many beautiful presents for the little one on the way. Refreshments were served and everyone had a nice evening. Jimmy MSlnerney was all decked out in his new suit when he made his First Communion last Sunday May 11. Jimmy got over the measles just in time. Billy Jackson made his first Holy Communion, too, on May 11. There was a party for him, there were guests from Chicago and his aunt and uncle, Mr. and Mrs. Betts. May 14, Lorraine Erdman will be at Western Springs Chapter, O.E.S. and Blanche Haefiiger will be guest of honor. Hazel Rodge had a house full of company over the weekend. That was the night the boys camped out for the Kishwaukee Safety Camporee in Marengo.
