Those spectacular Warriors, rapidly gaining the reputation as the number one team in this area, added another scalp to their belt last Friday night as they whipped the Blue Streaks of Woodstock 83-54 in a conference game at home. The victory increased our conference record to 5-0 and our overall record 11-0. The team never has looked much sharper than they did in this game. They executed tremendous passing and demonstrated great teamwork. The balanced scoring really showed up in the/ box score as the five starters accounted for 57 points, neither of them scoring more than 13. Every player got into the game and scored at least two points apiece. The starters only played about 2 Vz quarters and the reserves kept up the rapid scoring pace. The Fulton men shot a terrific 53.2% for the game -- 55.6% the first half and 50% the second half. This figure represents a new high for the season. Woodstock shot 30.4% for the game, a figure which has become very common with our recent opponents. There was no doubt as to the outcome of the game right at the outset. The Warriors took a 24-13 quarter advantage and were never threatened after that. We made good on 11 of 18 shots in that period. The second quarter was even more one-sided as we secured a 19-8 margin. Geneva Sophs Win From MCHS, 54-51 by Shopping The Geneva Vikings triumphed over the local lads on the Geneva hardwoods Saturday evening by the tune of 54 to 51. It was the §oph's third loss in twelve games. The Warriors looked very poor defensively in the second half especially as the Vikings repeatedly made court length passes to men open in the offensive court after Warrior scores. A little more "hustle" and the Warriors might have won the game. For the second night in a row, Tom Creighton and Gary Adams led the Warrior offensive with 19 and 11 points respectively.
