If the ground is still frozen solid,, which no doubt it will be, the signs will be on display at our meeting. Mrs. Barnett has been in the hospital with a case of "running out for the mail with no coat on" as her husband calls it. The doctors usually diagnose it as the flu. And Electric Heating offers so much more than conventional heating systems, that it's well worth the few extra dollars it costs to operate. New cleanliness, new quietness, new comfort control For example, new Radiant Electric Heating is just as clean as electric light! lit uses no fuel, needs no chimney. There's no open flame, nothing burning, no smoke or soot to create dirt. And Radiant Electric Heating gives you complete comfort control. Separate thermostats in each room let you "tune in" the exact degree of heat you need. You can keep the bathroom at 80°, while the living room is 72°, and the bedrooms are set for perfect sleeping comfort at 65°. Electrically heated homes cost no more A home with Radiant Electric Heating costs you no more than you'd pay for a home with conventional automatic heat. And you get far more insulation than you would get in the average new home--the equivalent of 6 inches in the ceiling, 4 inches in walls, 2 inches in the floor over unheated spaces. And most important, upkeep is just a fraction of what you'd pay to keep a conventional system in operation. Since Radiant Electric Heating has no moving parts, there's nothing to get out of order. Nothing to adjust, nothing to clean. Year-round air conditioning You can add air conditioning anytime you choose. Or, if you want air conditioning right away, you can have a home equipped with the wonderful new Electric Heat Pump. It's a single, compact unit that heats in winter, cools and dehumidifies the air in summer, filters and circulates the air to every room in your home the year round. And just as with Radiant Electric Heating, there are no flames, no fumes. Nothing to escape, drip, leak, smell or boil over. Nothing to disturb your absolute peace of mind! The new Electric Heating rate A new Electric Heating rate (30% lower!) is offered homeowners who heat exclusively with electricity--putting this wonderful new form of heating well within the means of most new home buyers.
