Any Sunday •company expecting to visit these families will have to get l^e before.the game starts at 2 o'clock or wait until it's over. The lineup for the Lion's team is Chuck Zabroski, Mike Hatch, Mike Zabroski, Terry Morrison, Babby Miller, Butch Sossong, and Billy Daly. For the Bears team Herb Zabroski, Clarence Sossong, Terry Godina, Jim Arbogast, Jerry Sossong, Jim Bolda and Dwight OPrt sen. These games ,nay never get on T. V. but they are a lot of fun for players and the spectators. Ladies League The ladies held their regular meeting on Wednesday evening at the fire-community building. May 14, 1959) LEGAL LEGAL NOTICE AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ARTICLE III OF CHAPTER 15 OF THE MUNICIPAL CODE OF THE CITY OF McHENRY. WHEREAS, it is deemed by the City Council of the City of McHenry to be necessary to the public health and welfare to regulate the method and means of garbage and refuse pickup and transportation within the corporate limits of the City of McHenry. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED that the Said Article III of Chapter 15 of the revised Ordinances of the Municipal Code of the City of McHenry be and hereby are amended by adding thereto the following: 383-a) . (1) All operators of refuse, waste material, and garbage disposal vehicles-, who shall desire to haul over the streets of the, City, shall transport or convey such refuse, waste material, or garbage, whether picked up within or without the corporate limits, in a vehicle equipped with a water tight box which shall be provided with a tight cover' and shall be so' operated as to prevent offensive odors escaping therefrom and refuse being blown, dropped, drained, or spilled therefrom. (2) Penalties -- Any person, firm, 01* corporation violating any of the provisions of this Ordinance shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor and upon conviction thereof, shall be fined in an amount not exceeding $25.00. Each day such violation is committed or permitted to continue shall constitute a separate offense and shall be punishable as such hereunder. The next business meeting will be on June 9 at the home of Pam Obstfelder from 2 until 4. Susan Schultz, Carol Niemiec and Lynnda Stuart went to Health Club on May 4. A movie was shown and exercises were done, the girls were timed to see how inany situps they could do in two minutes. A lecture and two demonstrations were given. Anniversary Surprise On May 9 Mr. and Mrs. Kerr were pleasently surprised with an anniversary party , which included sixteen couples some of them were clubwomen, from Chicago. Congratulations to a fine couple. Field Trip On May 7 the graduates cf St.' John's went into the city by chartered bus to visit the Museum of Science and Industry. the George Harding Museum and China town.
