A I don't like to make habit of writing about myself but with all the planning that went into this project I do think it deserves to be mentioned. Joy, Karen and myself were waiting for Jim to come home from work as he was taking us out for dinner in celebration of my? birthday. Instead of one car pulling into the dirveway, twelve cars blowing their horns pulled in all over the place. Jim had planned and carried through a most successful birthday surprise party. The re^i good point is all the ladies prepared the food and we had corn and meat on the grill outside so it was a completely wonderful blrthdny. Besides other gifts, I wns presented with a wonderful ixrlll complete with rotisaerto. tfolplnn in making this a most memorable birthday were: Mrs. Helen Hettermann. Mrs. Jack Keenan, the Ed and .Gerry Hettermann. families, the John Herdrich family, the Richard Dehn family, Mr. and Mrs. Don Dowe and Miss Violet Crowley which totaled about 35 in all. New Family Member et> The hottest news from the diaper set is the recent arrival in the Pechous home. Roger and Gloria welcomed a new daughter born Aug. 21 at St. Therese's hospital. Our congratulations to the Pechous family on their new addition.
