Mrs. Ella Newman was a visitor in the home of her sister, Mrs. Calla Rainey, in Genoa City, Wednesday. Rev. Robert L. Eldridge, vicar of St. Paul's Episcopal church, McHenry, officiated at services at the acolyte festival held at St. Lawrence church, Libertyville, at 8 p.m. Sunday evening. The affair was sponsored by six parishes and missions of the Episcopal church from the vicinity. The Coleman family has moved from a front apartment in the Kent building on E. Elm street, to a rear apartment in the same building, vacated by the John Matchen family who are how making their home in the Irving Schmitt apartment on Green street. Mrs. Charles Sourek of Cicero spent a few days the past week with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Martin Conwpv. Miss Virginia Williams. R.N., and friends from Hines hospital were visitors in the Joseph Williams home Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. Alfons Adams and Joan and Joyce, were dinner guests in the Ray Walsh home at Fox Lake Sunday. May, wife and four sons of San Jose, Calif., were guests in the Leo Blake home Wednesday evening. Mr. and Mrs. Fuller Boutelle of Lake Geneva, Wis., and Mr. and Mrs. Edward Smith of Crystal Lake were Sunday dinner guests in the home of Mr. and Mrs. Josie Smith. About 120 employees are working out of the new facility. Mrs. ».;u>n Duncan reports that a good time was had by all. Trent Middlekauff is doing fine and is expected home any day now from that long siege in the hospital. With all that snow outside and people around reporting that the hills can't be negotiated in cars it was refreshing to find a card from the Ristings who are well settled at Miami Beach for at least another couple of weeks. Mr. and Mrs. Mathew Zeimet were part of the 125 people to spend a pleasant Saturday evening in Chicago at the reception of Mr. and Mrs. Herbert K. Hansen who celebrated their twenty-fifth wedding anniversary. Guess I'll sign off and make a snow man for the kids >-- hope all of you took advantage of this' first heavy snow fall and followed along similar pursuits.
