She received the last rites of the Catholic church before she became unconscious, and her family was at her bedsid^ Details appear elsewhere in the Plaindealer. She suffered a fall a few months ago which caused her to' jbecojne completely bedridden. &he of her greatest pleasures \Vas the meetings of the Thursday afternoon ladies club which she was reluctant to miss. Many years ago. several women formed the alliance and they remained steadfast in their friendship to each other through the years. Mrs. Schaefer was one of the most faithful members. SWs wonderful woman who ^lany near and dear friends in the area will ^ be sorely missed. Her many acts of kindness and thoughtfulness were too numerous to mention. Our deepest sympathy to her daughters, Mrs. Nancy Doolin and Mrs. Marie Hojnacki of the village, Mrs. Betty Baumbeck of Mason Hill Road? McHenry, to her husband, Ben. and to her rn<tf»y step, grand and greatgrandchildren who survive her.
