OBITUARIES NELLIE THOMPSON Death ended the long illness of Mrs. William J. (Nellie) Thompson, 45, of Woodstock on Wednesday evening, Feb.. 3.-She died in an Elgin hospital, where she was a patient for four years. She was born Oct. 9, 1914. in Berwyn, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Elke Bylsma. The family lived in the McHenry area for a number of years and she graduated from the local high school. Mrs. Thompson was a member of the First Methodist church and a charter member of the Woodstock V.F.W. auxiliary. Survivors include her husband; a son. Larry William; a brother, Jacob Bylsma, of Ft. Worth. Texqs; and a sister. Mrs. \^jfljfred Westermeyer of" Philadelphia. Pa. Her parents and one brother, George, pre ceded h°er in death. The body rested at the Pierce-Bier chapel . until 2 o'clock Saturday afternoon when Rev. Stuart D. White of the First Methodist church officiated at last rites. Burial was in Oakland cemeterv.
