Helping Daisy, as co-hostesses. serve the delicate, elephant shaped, open faced sandwiches were Louise Winters, Helen Smith and Angeline Moravec. Judy Newkirk, of Cooney Heights, was SL weekend guest of Pat Simonsen, they went ice skating on the channel, took in a movie in town and spent Saturday afternoon at the roller rink. . . The Simbourgers, who in celebrating their fourteenth wedding anniversary, entertained Mr. and Mrs. A. Seibert and their children, Diane, Paul. Anthony and Denise, also Mr. and Mrs. C. Simbourger, with their youngsters, Sharon, Scott and Ronald. The children all loved the sledding on the hills out here. . . A Sunday evening'was well spent by the Lamerands, Olbinskis, Olszewski, Schmitts, Viliams and Whitneys at the Brunkes. It was a sort of "Hurry Up and Get Well" gathering for Shirley Lame rand who was due to go into the hospital for a stay of a couple of weeks. . . Ev Tanner's sister with her husband, Mr! and Mrs. Mel Lane, of Libertyville, and their children. Linda: Mark and Susie, were out for a Sunday dinner. * . . Mrs. Edward Hess, of Chicago, brought her children out to spend a weekend with grandma Hinz. . Little Barbara Both, from Meadowdale, is having a 'cation at grandma Mueller's. Seeing that the guys didn't play basketball, Friday evening, the following dolls decided to go bowling: Alice Brunke, Joan Dostal, Shirley Sick List Harry Paulin is home from St. Charles hospital in Aurora, recuperating from a serious operation. . . Shirley Lamerand is in traction at Sherman hospital in Elgin. She is suffering with a slipped disc. Lamerand, Connie Lindwall aricl Jerry Olbinski. Plans changed and the outcome was a pizza shack and a gabfest at Connie's home. . . The Dobbertins, while in Chicago, dropped in on Bob's folks and later went over to Betty's folks where they helped her sister, Marge Murawski, celebrate her birthday with a dinner. On their anniversary, March 6, Bob and Betty with Bobbie had dinner at that well known eating spot in Gurriee. Later that evening, the Cicchinis joined them in listening to that new stereo. . . Louise and Sam Winters took Nancy and Sandy with- his boy friend, Michael Marchese, to Chicago to visit the Sportsman Show. Looks like big plans are in the making for a camp-out in the north woods this summer, .. . Busy little bee, Daisy Smith with Marion Schoenholtz, attended tshe reception in Aurora for the District Presidents of the Ladies Auxiliary of the V.F.W. and had to hurry back to pick up Mrs. MacCailum in order to attend the meeting for the McHenry hospital drive at the Country club. . . The Olbinskis took the children to Chicago to visit the Museum of Natural History and the Shedd Aquarium. . . The Schramms were over to Emerald Park for dinner and to help grandpa S c h r a m m c e l e b r a t e a n o t h e r birthday. . . And last but not least, Irene and Trent Middlekauff, enroute to California, were on the Santa Fe Chief that had all those windows broken in that minor rail accident. . .
