Saturday afternoon, March 26. at 2 pjn. in the high school auditorium. Fancy Easter styles for the wee ones in the family will be presented by the Toddler Shop and rockin' 'teen -age fashions will be shown from the Casual Shoppe. Popular and well known youngsters from the McHenry area have been chosen to model these fashions. An entertaining show has been prepared to delight the audience. ^ Martin Klapperich will furnish the organ music background for the models. Accompanists for the show will be Irma Blomgren and Helen Creamer. Dances will be under the direction of Nancy Gardiner. Tickets may be obtained at the door. NAMED HONOR LIST Terrence J. Brady, a freshman in business administration at the College of St. Thomas in Minnesota, has been named to the dean's honor list with a "B" plus average or grade point ratio of 3.25. An estimated 3,025 treatments were given at the Easter Seal Therapy Center during the past year, according to records of the physical therapist, Mrs. Eleanor Jorgenson. These treatments included use of infra-red, whirlpool, steam packs, ultra sound, paraffin bath, cold packs, galvanic and faradic stimulation, massage, exercise, gait training, tests and measurements. Benefitted were 1,195 adults and children at the Center, as well as itinerant treatments. Of the first six months this fiscal year. 995 treatments were administered. Over half, or 580, were given on a partial or a non-pay basis. Funds received from the Easter Seal drive now in process help maintain the Easter Seal Center. Mrs. Esther Malina, co-chairman of the drive, urges that contributions for Easter Seals sent through the* mails last week be returned so that operation of the Center may continue as efficiently as in the past. An all-youngster Easter Seal parfde of fashions and amateur musical program is being given under the sponsorship of the Easter Seal junior auxiliary, Jimmy Schroeder president, Sunday, March 27. The event will be held at the Richmond- Burton Community high school at Richmond at 2 o'clock. The entire proceeds will be given to the Easter Seal society. Master of ceremonies will be Tom Harris and participants will include children pre-school age to high school. Dr. Bertha Schafer of Richmond, president of the Easter Seal society, will give a short talk on operation of the Easter Seal Center at Woodstock. Present will be the Miss Easter Seal of 1960, Marianne Ream, 3 years old, of Woodstock. Ray Eddn of Milwaukee, member of the staff of the National Society For Crippled Children and Adults, has also been invited to attend. Tickets may be secured at the Easter Seal center in Woodstock; Schroeder's drugs at Richmond or at the door the day of the performance. There are adult and children tickets. CARD PARTIES NET $154 FOR SWIMMING POOL will for all ELECT JANE DUCEY SECRETARY OF PTA COUNTY COUNCIL Mrs. Frank Horn of Harvard was elected president of the County Council of Parent Teacher associations at the meeting at the Alden-Hebron high school Thursday night. Others elected to serve in 1950-61 arc Willard Carlson of Algonquin, vice:president; Mrs. John Ducey, Wonder Lake, secretary; and Mrs. Stuart Wells of Harvard, treasurer. The council is making plans for the annual school of instruction to be held at Harrison school in Wonder Lake May 19 at 8 p.m. The meeting is designed to assist incoming officers of the local P.T.A.'s by providing them with any information which they may feel they would like to have in their term of office. Suggestions from the local units would be appreciated to guide the program committee in setting up the May meeting. The last of the parties was held Sunday night at the Wing 'n Fin lodge. In bridge, Mr. and Mrs. Brad Scott won third prize; Mr. and Mrs. William Harner of Eastwood Manor, second; and Dr. and Mrs. Leonard Pawlikowski, first. Mr. and Mrs'. Teacher Placement Day is held annually at the university in connection with the state high school basketball tournament.
