He and his wife, Carol, will spend a week of his furlough with Millie and George. At the end of his leave he returns to Fort Leonard Wood for eight weeks of field communication training. Worship service on Sunday, July 10, will be a nostalgic experience for Pastor ana congregation as it will mark the last Sunday of all activities in tne old house-chapel. It has been the home of Natvity for almost eight years, having been purchased in September, 1952, even before the congregation was officially organized. The men of the congregation built the addition to the church thus making it suitable for worship, but the building has long since out-lived its usefulness with the steady growth of the congregation and Sunday school. ^ The move to the new church is anticipated with great joy, as it will provide better facilities to make a greater witness. The sermon title for July 10 will be, "The Challenge of Tomorrow". Thife will be- a meaningful service for everyone, and charter members of the church are especially urged to attend. The service of leaving an old church will be held at 10:45 July 17. This brief service will be held at the old church and then will be followed by the car-procession to the new church at which the main service will be held. The Luther League will meet Sunday evening. July 10, at 7:30. All young people are weloome to come. Service projects for the new church, and the social and outing at Cedar Lae on July 22, will be disussed. There will also be a program followed by social and refreshments. Sunday school teachers and officers will meet Tuesday, July 12, at 7530. Altar Guild will meet at the parsonage Wednesday.
