LITTLE LEAGUE i Tom Blair pitched Gene Adams' Orioles to a 10-2 win over the Eagles on Monday and then turned hitter*5 on Thursday with three hits as the Orioles downed the Cardinals 14- 2. Paul Adams homered as Ricky Piatt pitched a steady game for the winners. Bobby Grenveur pitched shut out ball and Jimmy Mars homered as the Falcons walloped the Cardinals 15-0. MINOR LEAGUE The minor league continued to take the spotlight away from the majors with more close games this week. The Eagles finally stopped the Owls 7-4 as Norbert Rich tripled with the bases loaded in the final inning. The Owls turned in two double plays and a fine throw to the plate from left fielder Jim Kloeckner cut oft an Eagle rally. Monday morning was the final race of the Hertz Series trophy with Ron Schloemer the winner, second was Norm Reese, and third, Jerry Schloemer. The winner of the Henry L. Hertz tropfty was Ron Schloemer. In the afternoon there was an E boat race for those who had the energy to go on. Jerry Schloemer was the winner of these energetic few.
