The firsit of these, the annual District Two directors' meeting, held this past Sunday -in MarengO, was attended by presidents and directors of Jaycee groups from every city in this large district. Local director, Harry Cygan, was present to represent the McHenry group. Highlights of the meeting included an address by State Jaycee President Farnsley Peters, a discussion of projects adopted by the individual chapters, and the planning of the Jaycee bowling tournament An interesting point, related by Director. Cygan, is thtft throughout the district, only two Jaycee organizations, one of which is the^ local group, have undertaken the community development project now in the works of the McHenry chapter. The enrollment at present is 320 pupils, an increase of more than 100 per cent in the last two years. These pupils are taught by a staff of tweney- nine and ten substitutes. The suit for $15,- 000 charges that intoxicating liquor sold on the night of the accident caused Charles Ritzert, driver of the car in which Nichols was a passenger, to operate it in a careless manner. In action against the same defendants, Howard Ketchum, as administrator of the estate of Larry Ketchum, seeks $20,- 000 for wrongful death. His suit states that Larry was a passenger in a car struck by Ritzert and died as result of the accident.
