The Schuerrs' guests were Mr. and Mrs. Jack Schuerr and family of Fox Lake. A Busy Week Tt was a busy week for Don and Marion Leske. On Tuesday, Nov. 22, Don and Marion attended the confirmation of Marion's niece, Sheron Tuma, in Melrbse Park. Marion was sponsor for Sheron. It was a very impressive ceremony. Cardinal Meyer of Chicago officiated at the service. Besides Cardinal Meyer there were two bishops and seventeen priests, and members of the Knights of Columbus. On Thanksgiving day Don's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Gary Leske, Ddh and Marion, had dinner at the ' home of Don's uncle and aunt, Mr. and Mrs. Richard Cdrll, of McHenry. On Sundby, Nov. 27, Marion was godmother to her infant nephew, John Thomas Weimer, of Elmhurst. A P I O N E E R V - S P A C E PROBE vehicle was recently displayed in the lobby of a California bank. Boy Scouts The Lily-Lakemoor Troop 161 sponsored by the V.F.W. of McHenry will hold its court of awards Thursday, Dec. 15, at the firehouise in Lakemoor 417:30 p.m. Parents of the boys and the public are all invited to attend the cOurt of awards. The boys of this troop spent Friday and Saturday, Nov. 25 and 26, raking the grounds of the V.F.W. as a troop project.
