Public is invited. It has reporters attention that several pets have died in a very short time. Just what they have died from, no one really knows. As far as this reporter can find out none of the dead pets have beeij taken to 'the Vets after death. So it is hard to tell what they have died from, These animals were children's pets and adults as well. If someone is killing these pets deliberately, you letter know now. There is a law against killing pets. All I can suggest to the owners of pets is to either pen your pet up or put him on a leash. Watch to see IfLj-defTt anyone trys to feed them anything. If someone trys to feed them, stop it right away. More News Charles Ferguson and Jim Moore visited friends and relatives in West Virginia for the Christmas holiday. James Burress of Courness, Miss., visited with his father, John Burress, for the holiday. James is attending school -in Mississippi. Katherinq Fuhler and son, Ronnie, spent three days in DeKalb visiting Katherine's son, Dick, and his family. Archie Ferguson of Huntington, W.V. spent New Year's visiting his brother, Donald, here. At this meeting the Spaghetti dinner was discussed further. At this time the auxilary would like to announce they have seven new members. They are Ida Legge, Marlyn Lo- Presti, Tina Bellino, Marion Leske, Lil Neumann and Andrea Johnson. To each and everyone of you we say welcome into the auxiliary. Hostesses for this meeting were Diane Fuhler, Val Fradinardo and Katherine Fuhler. Although Katherine could not make this meeting she was very glad to donate the coffee and cream. Leona Fantus fook Katherine's place as hostess. The next meeting of the auxiliary will be held Monday, "Feb. 7, at 8 p.m. at the white schoolhouse. The hostesses for1 the February meeting are Emma Gray, Alma Hueckstaedt and Mary Hollen-^ bach. The welfare and welcoming committee for the next six months are Edna Crawley, Toni Ehredt and Katherine Fuhler. Another Shelter The second shelter for the school children will be started within the week. It will be put up near the home of Don and Marion Leske. When this shelter is up there will be one more to go. Parents if you are interested in getting the last shelter built and up contact either of these people, Birthdays . .There have been two birthdays in the Ehredt family. Toni celebrated her birthday Sunday; Jan. 8. Vern celebrated his birthday Tuesday, Jan. 10. Many happy returns Toni and Vern. Anniversary Fred and Val Fradinardo celebrated their wedding anniversary Monday, Jan. 16. Congratulations Fred and Val, hope you celebrate many more anniversaries together. Farewell Party A farewell party was held Friday, Dec. 30, for Ronnie Nelson who joined the Airborn Division of the army. Many friends and relatives attended the party. Ronnie Left Tuesday, Jan. 3, for Fort Leonard Wood, Mo. where he will be stationed. Please Notice I have been asked if I^jiut any news in this column from Fritzesche's Estate. TRAILER CAUTION There is extreme danger in sleeping in trailers where heating equipment with an uncontrolled, continuous fuel supply is used, unless there is fresh air intake and proper venting.
