To cach of you we say, congratulations on your Confirmation. Home Burns On Wednesday, Feb. 1, the home in which the Mays family lived, was destroyed by fire. Mrs. Mays and three of her five children were home at the time. Fortunately they all got out of the home without J^hiries. •< Credit goes to the men of the Lakemoor and McHenry fire department who worked so hard in trying to save the home. We sure have a good fire department out here. Give Assistance The Woman's auxiliary of Lilymoor showed what they could do in a case of an emerjPkicy again. When they learned of the fire at the Mays' home they were on the job again. They began to do what ever they could for the family. Not only did the women of the auxiliary open their hearts to the stricken family, so did the women of Fritzsche's Estates. As a lot of you know the Mays family lost everything & the fire. Association News This coming Tuesday, Feb. 14, is the monthly meeting of the Lilymoor association. The time is 8:30 p.m., and the place the white schoolljouse. A reminder to the board of directors. There will be three new girls invested into the Brownies, and the girls will also celebrate the second birthday of this troop. On Thursday, Jan. 26. LeOna Fantus, Diane Fuhler and Marge Beahler attended the Sybquay Girl Scout council convention in Barrington. One of the things the women enjoyed was the movies shown of the National Girl Scouts convention held last morith.
