The first occurred on Rt. 120, in front of the Jewel Tea store, on Friday, involving cars driven by Chester J. Tychewicz of Valley View Road, McHenry, and William G. Loose of McHenry. Police say both cars were travelling west, Tychewicz on the outside lane and Loose on the inside lane Loose attempted to turn into the right lane and the parking lot and in so doing was hit by the other auto. Two minor crashes occurred Saturday. James Chrisman and Thomas R. Dowe, both of McHenry, were driving east on Rt. 120, when Dowe stopped for a train that was switching on the track. Chrisman hit the right rear of the Dowe car. The same day, cars driven by Wayne B. Bares of Rt. 3, and Margaret A. Oik of Clover Lane, McHenry; collided at Elm street and Riverside Drive. Bares was driving west on the outside lane on Elm street when he was hit by the Oik auto, which was making a right turn from the inside lane. A minor accident occurred late on the afternoon of Feb. 1, causing minor injuries to Casimir Kasperski of Rt. 5, McHenry. He was taken to McHenry hospital for treatment by the Johnsburg rescue squad. Kasperski was driving on Lincoln road in a snow storm when the car slid off the road and hit a pole. Marking the seventy-fifth anniversary of World Day of Prayer, sponsored in the United States by the United Church Women of the National Council of Churches, the Ringwood Methodist church will bold services at 1:30 o'clock on Friday, Feb. 17.
