There are also thirteen grandchildren and twenty-four great-grandchildren. Mr. Hoagland and his sons purchased the Peter Nersted home three years ago and had sold it and planned to move to * Melrose Park but Mr. Hoagland's illness prevented this. He was born in Stockholm, Sweden on April 16, 1868 and moved to this country in 1902. At one time, he was a member of the Woodman Lodge in Michigan.
